The Communication and Negotiation Committee and American Society of Business Communication reached a preliminary cooperation intention
On March 26-27,2014,the 13th annual academic meeting of American Society of Business Communication(Asia-Pacific area) was held in Shanghai University of International Business and Economics,China Communication and Negotiation Committee of Industrial Technology Society of Economic Management Colleges (hereinafter referred to as Communication and Negotiation Committee) sent a delegation including the chairman Zeng Xiaochun,secretary general Zhang Shougsng,deputy ,secretary general Xia Mingxue and the standing Mao Yufan to the meeting to celebrate,and they developed exchanges and cooperation in a warm and friendly talks with Kathryn Rentz,the chairman of American Society of Business Communication and Dr. Duboser,the head of Asia-Pacific area.

On the basic of both sides’ introduction of their committee,the two sides had an intensive exchange of views and discussion in information sharing, strengthening communication and contact of the two organizations, academic exchanges, visits, case construction, and members system and some other aspects and reached a preliminary cooperation intention to accelerate the development of the two committees.
1.The two sides increase links to the other sites on their official website so that their members can know and understand the other side;
2.The two sides distribute promotional materials to the participants in the academic activities they organized to expand the influence;
3.The two sides can publish notice and invitations of the meeting by the other sites when organizing academic activities and encourage members to attend relevant academic support activities;
4.Invite main members of each other to attend the relevant academic activities as the special guests;
5.Explore further on the ways for cooperation between the two sides as well as time series in academic exchanges, visits, textbooks monographs building, resource sharing, and other fields.
Finally, the Committee fully affirmed the achievements and efforts American Society of Business Communication has made in the relevant areas made and two sides said they would sincerely cooperate and jointly promote international academic exchanges and contacts in the field of communication and negotiation.
