Vice President Wang Chuansheng gave a speech for the opening ceremony

From September 1 to 3,55 overseas students from 13 universities in the UK and more than 50 teachers and students from seven domestic universities gathered together in the 7th meeting room of Capital University of Economics and Trade and hosted the three-days UK China future business elite Summit successfully.

This Summit got widely attention and  support from inside and outside the school,Vice President Wang Chuansheng and Director of Academic Affairs Department Zhang Qi attended the opening ceremony and welcomed the overseas students.Former Consul General of China in Manchester Wang Yaoxiang delivered a special speech to encourage the students to work hard.The Communication and Negotiation Committee of China Communication and Negotiation Committee of Industrial Technology Society of Economic Management Colleges read the congratulatory letter and spoke highly of the significance of the Summit.School of Business Administration provided financial and material support.Shenzhen GTA and other enterprises sponsored gifts and promotional items.More than 30 entrepreneurs and officials from the Hua Xiang government attended the Summit for communication.

Ten teams from the Universities from UK and domestic performed five simulation business negotiations.The experts including Shi Yongheng,from Tsinghua University,Mei Hua,from Northern University for Nationalities,Feng Yajuan,from  Tianjin Polytechnic University,Yang Zhen,Lin Li,Xie Yongqiu,from Capital University of Economics and Trade,gave professional guidance and comments.

During the match,Lin Li and Yang Zhen provided two special lecturesfor the students,senior negotiators Chen Fei and Wang Shuo provided two training about business negotiation basis,which made the students from UK and domestic learn a lot.The teachers and students of the professional guidance team from Capital University of Economics and Trade kept answering the British students’ questions almost the whole day.Zhao Gao led his technical team not only providing a full video service,but also finished lots of interviews.

It is reported that the UK China Future Business Elite Summit was established in UK in February,2014 and it was self-initiated by student organizations and was transnational exchange of learning autonomous operation mode.As a domestic outstanding and mature professional team,the business negotiation team of Capital University of Economics and Trade was invited to visit British Universities in  February,2014 ,and help the local in conducting negotiations simulation contest,which strongly aroused the participation and response in UK universities.This Summit of Beijing Station is not only the return visit of UK to Capital University of Economics and Trade,but also the beginning of business negotiation team’s second visit to UK in next year.

Although the students have differences in disciplinary backgrounds and ages,especially the students from UK are mostly engineering majors,they came to  Capital University of Economics and Trade from afar at their own expense only to find the way to improve the ability to apply knowledge through business negotiation simulation class.This college students’ action of being eager to independent study played the strongest voice of the time.
